Julie grew up in the central Illinois and graduated from Martinsville High School. She has attended Lake Land College, Eastern Illinois University and The University of Illinois in Champaign. She has her undergraduate degree (Bachelor's) in Family Consumer Sciences with a minor in Psychology. She has since continued her education by getting an MS in Family and consumer sciences at EIU in 2010.

Julie has always been interested in becoming a therapist, so she went back to school and obtained a MSW in Social Work, graduating in 2022.  

Julie is in the process of becoming a LSW and plans to work towards becoming an LCSW.  

Julie recently retired from Eastern Illinois, as an Office Manager in the Student Disability Services Office. She very much enjoyed her time at EIU and working with the college students, their families, faculty and staff members. Julie truly enjoys traveling and spending time with friends, family and her two rescue cats. Her favorite destination so far has been Disney World in Orlando, Florida.  

Julie began working for Neuro Harmony summer 2022. She is available for new clients in both and individual and couple's therapy.
