Jake Pearson is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University's counseling program. He received his M.S. in Counseling with concentrations in both Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling. During his time at EIU, he focused on work with youth, although he is pleased to see clients of all ages.

Jake uses a mostly person-centered approach, but also uses strength-based and Cognitive Behavior Therapy interventions. He has experience working with youth who are experiencing anxiety, anger, gender issues, and other stressful life experiences. His goal is to empower clients to be their truest and healthiest self, while offering them support with their thought patterns, communication skills, and overall mental health.
